I now skip Mino entirely and just be selective on champions I decide to get masteries for. That was almost the most hideous thing in this game, even though this game has no shortage of hideous things. I still remember putting my first 800 gem down for my MM mastery, then have him carry 4 different champions to farm Mino and try to get to tier 6 so my Clan Boss team could take a big leap. The odds of good dungeon drops seriously suck, but Mino just takes so long to complete. You need those crits, you need those DEF, you need those ACC. I have seen many champions work well with good gear and just tier 1 crit, but I've never seen champions work well with full masteries but meh gear.

Everything else is marginally useful at best. To be honest, only 3~5 talents in the masteries really matter among all the steps they force you to take: the tier 6, +5% crit, + crit damage, chance to counter-attack, etc.

That said, I'm not sure prioritizing Mino is a good way to go. While I agree that Mino gives you guaranteed "reward" while other dunegons are just a rare chance of reward, with 95% of the time pieces that are immediately sold, and the percentage only goes up as you advance in this game.
